An Eventful Year For ServiceSport UK in 2024

Having recently attended the Beyond Active event in Saudi Arabia, the next stop for ServiceSport UK is the active.net Public Sector event in Nottingham where our Country Manager, Matt Hoffman, and National Sales Manager, Scott Burrell, will be catching up with some of the very best operators in the public sector. The two-day event provides a great opportunity for ServiceSport UK to understand some of the challenges that operators in the public sector face and offer several ways to alleviate such issues. We are looking forward to our audience with public sector operators on the 27th and 28th of March!

It’s then swiftly on to the world’s leading trade show for fitness, wellness and health – FIBO! Taking place across 4 days, from 11th to 14th April, FIBO showcases the latest innovations and initiatives that the fitness industry has to offer to thousands of visitors across several halls inside the Exhibition Centre in Cologne, Germany.

Towards the end of April, our Regional Sales Executive for the North, Dale Wood, will be attending the first-ever PAF Forum in Scotland. A great opportunity for Dale to sit down with operators of leisure and sports facilities in Scotland, build relationships and dive into some of the challenges operators in Scotland face with regards to gym equipment and gym equipment services.

As summer arrives, several of the ServiceSport UK team will be exhibiting at the UK’s largest fitness event, Elevate. Taking place over 2 days on 12th and 13th June, our team will be found exhibiting near the entrance to the main hall on stand K10. Elevate brings direction, inspiration and new opportunities for success to every area of the physical activity and fitness sector, in a forward-thinking, collaborative environment. Thousands of decision-makers from gyms, studios, sports clubs, universities, schools and private practice meet over 250 leading suppliers to discover solutions and product innovations.

It’s then on to the Independent Gyms Summer Conference for the third consecutive year! An event that never fails to disappoint with a great lineup of speakers, breakout sessions, workshops and various demo sessions all packed into one day.

We return to an active-net event in September, this time in Scotland, where Scott and his team will meet with operators from local authorities, universities and leisure operators that are looking to enhance their facilities. The active-net events are a great platform for our team to spend quality time with operators who are actively seeking a solution to problems they are facing or simply looking to understand more about our business and the range of services we provide.

Scott and Matt then leave the UK and head over to Italy for the W3Fit EMEA event from the 8th until the 11th of October. W3Fit has become one of the most popular events on the calendar, bringing together like-minded leaders in the club and fitness industry through scheduled one-on-one meetings, networking activities, community and purpose.

The Independent Gyms Winter Conference is next on the schedule, picking up where the Summer Conference left off with a day of networking, exhibiting and catching up with industry friends!

The year closes for ServiceSport UK as the headline sponsor of the National Fitness Awards once more. We will be joined by customers, industry friends and colleagues to celebrate excellence and achievement across the entire fitness industry. Organised by WorkOut magazine, in conjunction with Script Media, the National Fitness Awards has established itself as one of the most anticipated awards in the sector.

As we all know, anything can happen in the fitness industry between now and the end of the year, and ServiceSport UK will likely be involved in further events throughout the year as and when they are announced! We look forward to seeing you there!
